There is no immigration crisis.?

Immigrants, in general, or rather, Mexicans, because that is what we are talking about here, have an astonishing work ethic, tremendous respect for the United States, a deeply vested interest in the common good and are historically absorbed after the first generation.
It is very, very difficult to work without papers at any meaningful level above the lowest paying jobs. Undocumented immigrants are not trying to sell you insurance, sell you a house, operate on your kidneys or do your taxes. This economy needs immigrants to do the jobs Americans refuse to do. It is an idiotic argument that shows a huge disconnect in how Americans receive the goods and services they have come to depend on, and the source of labor that supplies it, i.e. iceberg lettuce for 80 cents a head or dinner in a nice restaurant for less than $100.
The Social Security Administration has accrued billions of dollars of collected payments from undocumented workers over the years, knowing full well that they will never have to pay this money out. Do you think they do not know this?
The reason this 'block the border' argument is "racist" is beacuse there has been virtually no effort to secure our border with Canada, the 9-11 terrorists entered this country legally and most Americans continue to refuse to absorb immigrants who do not look or sound like themselves.

It's not about terrorists getting through, its about 12 million illegals using public services such as EMS, Hospital, Police, Road, Fire, School without paying a cent back to the government in tax.

No they don't, or else they wouldn't come here, break our laws, demand rights they don't deserve and wave the Mexican flag in out face while doing it.

Typical liberal bulls**t. I know many Americans who would kill for some of the jobs illegals do. Illegals are not just picking lettuce and washing dishes. They are doing high paying construction jobs that many Americans would love to have.

I and many people I know would gladly pay $3.00 for a head of lettuce in exchange for the millions of dollars paid out in healthcare and other benifits to illegals.

This is the stupidest arguement I have ever heard to defend illegal Mexican immigration. There are not 23,000,000 illegal Canadians now living in the United States and the ones that are here legally don't clog up our healthcare and education systems.

MIMILUNDGREN: Life will show you better... thank God I don't have friends like you... and also READ! immigrants do pay their taxes... I'm with you all that the US must put some laws to stop that many mexicans to go to your country, the truth is Mexico must work to have a better country so that no one has to go and look for opportunities to other countries, but unfortunatelly there are still many corrupt people in here, as well as in the US, and as well as in every country in the world, some more, some less.. But Mexicans, or Africans, or any other third world country people doesn't have a fault in that they cannot find a job in their country, that they have to feed their family, etc. We cannot judge anybody, because we aren't in their shoes... God help us that each country can have a good government, unselfish, that can create a good nation, so no one have to immigrate to other countries, and have to tolerate razist people like MIMILUNDGREN, or PRINCESS, etc...
P.S. I DON'T live in the U.S.!! but I have traveled, and have friends from everywhere, and that have opened my mind a lot to accept things and ideas from others (as long as they are not racist, or that hurt in someways other people...) Open your mind people! but yourself in other's people shoes.... Life is the best! enjoy it, and this world is for EVERYONE! :)

So i wager they're demanding operating taxpayers, usually self employed. probable a million/3 are those between 19 and 25 merely commencing out unable to arise with the money for ins and under no circumstances eligible for his or her moms and dads ins.

I don't think its racist, according to the LA Times...
1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid f or by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
9. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.
10. Orange County, California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian.
If its racist to NOT want all this than so be it. I know all illegal immigrants are not bad people but when the majority is hurting our country (or counties) something has to be done. As far as the Canadian border, well, theres not exactly a huge crime rate increase along that border is there.

I agree, although some people are not capable of understanding this kind of facts, maybe once they start picking fresh veggies from the fields, they might understand a little, but since they are too good to do that, they will never understand......... even though most of them are borned from immigrants. Maybe we should send a few people back to Europe and England where they actually belong.

respect for the United States i don't think so they pick and choose what ever laws they choose and prices will not soar that's crap it might at first a scare tactic do you think they will still work that cheap once legal so your theory about that is not valid .and if the scamesty goes through it will bring more in and they get that money back and will be paid more than Americans and receive gas cards i think you should spend sometime reading the bills proposed you will be shocked
