the first two pics were good. I would suggest howeverhat you keep on eye level with or a bit lower than your subject. That means take a knee, or even get down on your belly. While it may not always fit with the vision you start out with, eye contact is also usually a great thing--especially in the case of portraits.
The third pic was a bit dark. Lookes like you need to go with a bit slower shutter speed--to make the sky stand out more and further backlight the vegetation in the forground. Probably want a tripod for that.
Overall, though, it looks like you've got what it takes. The key is to keep taking photos

i think you're on the right track. the first two are nice portrais but they are a little flat for my liking. Try adding in a little fill flash to lighten up shadow areas a little bit. If you don't already know about flash and available light I would suggest reading up on it because you can create some really beautiful portraits when combining more that one light source in a photo. The third photo is a nice landscape but its a little dark and needs some highlight areas. With some practice and experimenting I think you have the potential of being a photographer. Its a lot of work, good luck.

The potential is there. Just keep at it. The first was good except slightly out of focus. The cropping was good. The second needed more cropping. The background was too busy. I cannot tell if the third one is too dark. Was there cloud cover or was the sun down? Probably needed a source of lighting.
