I would suggest you start with what he has revealed to his creation through his word, Jesus Christ and the Bible. The Bible is like the operator's manual for human beings. It contains all we need to know to maintain ourselves through cleanliness of body, mind, and spirit. It tells us what is good and bad for us, how to handle situations properly, and how to treat others. When you have learned all that God has already said to you in the Bible, you may find you don't have to ask as many burning questions as you might think. Christ spoke God's word because he was God on Earth. There is so much God has already spoken to you. Learn to hear wit hyour heart instead of your mind. His word also says we are not able to understand the things of God yet, but one day we will understand. Its His promise to us. Hope this helps.

Dear Wandering Star,
You have asked a very good question! Many people, including so-called pastors, will tell you that God has spoken to them. They may have heard a voice or had a conversation but you can be sure it was not with God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ! You see the Lord will never violate His word. If you read Revelation 22:18, 19 the Lord has clearly stated that He will not add to or diminish from that which He has spoken. This also means that He will not speak in a dream or a vision. The entire Bible is the written word of God. When you read the Bible, it as if you are sitting at the feet of Jesus.
I am sure that you know that satan, the enemy of God, wants to be God (Isaiah 14). The Bible also tells us that satan is the father of lies. So, all these people who do not read and study the Bible and want some supernatural experience, the devil is most accommodating. If you would like further info please see: www.familyradio.com. I hope this will help you.

Have you ever been in your car and the "perfect" song comes on the radio...and it totally speaks to your heart?
Or you are at your favorite bookstore and just happen across several books about something that you have been wondering about?
Or you are just looking through the Bible, and you flip open to a random verse and it is the answer for whatever subject you are pondering?
I think God speaks in many ways, jsut like the ways above. Most commonly He speaks through the Bible, but also through people(whether they know it or not), and through lots of different circumstances. Sometimes God is silent" on issues because of sin, or inability to even recognïze His voice. The best thing to do, what I do, is ask forgiveness from my sins, and ask God to speak to me. I silence the enemy and my own thoughts and ideas and then just wait for God. He normally shows at just the right time, and in the most amazing ways. God loves a heart that seeks...don't give up.

HE talked to prophets and messengers, the persons who're chosen to hearken to from GOD. The very last prophet replaced into Mohammed. HE has given us each and every thing that he can to help us, and that is our selection to hearken to what replaced into reported and stick with or no longer. yet there are cases GOD without delay helps us after we choose it the most and that i love that. human beings won't be able to even settle for that as an answer, so how do you imagine human beings will settle for GOD talking on to someone in the present day? they could be placed right into a psychological organization because a lot of human beings AND governments worry GOD.

Talk to God and have confidence that He will answer your questions. He is listening all the time. However, be patient. He will answer you when He knows you are ready.
Be open to any signs that He is answering: like advice from a friend or parent, or learning something in church or somewhere else. You will know when He's talking to you.

Yes, God can talk directly to us. He speaks to us through His Holy Spirit. He speaks to us through the Bible or situations or circumstances. He can speak to us through prayer too.
Are you a Christian? If I knew, I would know how to help you further. Your willing to contact me if you wish.

God can do whatever he wants. But just like ghosts and UFOs, when people claim to have an experience it can never be verified.

God communicates to you indirectly. Usually by actions or things that happen. I truely believe that.
