Yes I do, especially when something is going on that I need to sort out, I will have a conversation with myself out loud on that issue, it could be a work thing or boyfriend or anything that I need to sort out better. I think it is normal to talk out loud - and answer yourself! That is the whole point to me, to work out what is the answer I need.

It's funny. I used to think that people who talked to themselves were a little bit crazy. Background - I grew up in a house full of people who were animated talkers who liked to talk. Ever since I've moved out on my own, I've felt like it was a bit lonely with no one to talk to. I've caught myself talking to myself when there was no one else around. I see things in a different light now. Maybe they aren't that crazy... maybe they've just been so ostracized by society that they crave human contact enough to talk to themselves. It isn't always the voices in their head that they are talking to.
Just think about this... When was the last time you went almost 2 weeks or a month without saying one single word to anyone (other than small talk to the bus driver or the server at the restaurant/bar). See how lonely that can become.

Yepj, it happens to me. I think it is a way to help you make a decision or vent on an issue when you don't want to get anyone else involved. I feel better after.
