because if we believe in god we will get free candy

The true reason why we should believe in god is because it will/would bring more peace to the world and there wouldn't be a lot of fighting we wouldn't have to worry that some one is going to kill us because if you believe in god he will set you free and let you live a peaceful life. Another reason is because he died on the cross for every ones sins and now that there is war and fighting it seems as though he did it just for people to do more bad things

Hope. The last thing that dies is the hope and God is generous and merciful in giving us exactly that amount we need constantly. Have you ever felt so lonely and miserable that you wanted to asleep and wake up after a long time or else? Hope keep us on the surface and God is a natural explanation of many things, both good and bad. A good question!

you want to know why I do beleive in God,take a look at your body and tell me could you or anybody else do something the same as that in that perfiction, could you tell me if there is no God so how does that world is done ,if you know a pregnat woman can you tell me how could the fetus goes inside her body then it becomes boy or a girl who could do that if it is not God .if you studied astrology can you tell make who is holding the earth from falling down and makes the sun goes around together with the moon and do not crush each other if you studied science can you tell me who could make some thing smaller than the nuclear.
take a look around you and see how is everything in that world is done to perfiction take a look at yourself and see how can you walk ,eat ,sleep ,cry when you are sad ,laugh when you are happy, who elese could do that if it is not God,look at what you eat fruits ,vegetable meat and fish.and ask yourself how did that.
still you don't beleive in God ,then ask yourself why are here in taht world in this life in that country in that road in that house for that family.ask yourself where did all that billions of people have gone and waht happen to them after there death ,otherwise the groung wouldn't be enough to barry people like you.THAT"S WHY I BELIEVE IN GOD.

Cause I'd rather believe in him and find out he is real than not believe in him and die and find out I was wrong.

I don't go to church though and I've never read the bible but that doesn't mean I can't believe he is not there even though I question a lot of times that he is not and some folks just wrote some crazy stuff in a book and called it a bible.

Each to their own but when I die, I'll get the answer.

i want to emphasize that you cant just decide to believe in God on a whim... you have to seek Him ..read His words handed down by His holy prophets ...pray to Him as you would enquire of anyone and share your thoughts with Him. Turn your heart to finding the truth and follow that which is good. The way to believe in God is to know God.... get to know Him ... seek Him.

What's your main reason to believe in water?

it exists, and it's vital to life.

Thus I say I believe in God because He exists and is vital to a life.

Not believing in God is like not believing in water.

YHWH. The personal name of the God of Israel is written in the Hebrew Bible with the four consonants yhwh and is referred to as the "Tetragrammaton". At least until the destructions of the First Temple in 586 b.c.e., this name was regularly pronounced with its proper vowels, as is clear from the *Lachish Letters, written shortly before that date. But at least by the third century b.c.e., the pronunciation of the name yhwh was avoided, and Adonai, "the Lord", was substituted for it, as evidenced by the use of the Greek word Kyrios, "Lord", for yhwh in the Septuagint, the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures that was begun by Greek-speaking Jews in that century. Where the combined form *Adonai yhwh occurs in the Bible, this was read as *Adonai *Elohim, "Lord God". In the early Middle Ages, when the consonantal text of the Bible was supplied with vowels points to faciliate its correct traditional reading, the vowel points for 'Adonai with one variation - a sheva with the first yod of YHWH instead of the hataf-patah under the aleph of 'Adonai7 were used for YHWH, thus producing the form Yehowah. When Christian scholars of Europe first began to study Hebrew, they did not understand what this really meant, and they introduced the hybrid name "Jehovah". In order to avoid pronouncing even the sacred name *Adonai for YHWH, the custom was later introduced of saying simply in Hebrew ha-Shem (or Aramaic Shemc, "the Name") even in such an expression as "Blessed be he that cometh in the name of YHWH" (Ps. 118:26).
I never said I believe in god I believe in Yahweh your Heavenly Father.
