References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24

Some examples:

GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Brenda’s World - Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.

But remember he loves you.

He murders every day apparently, with natural disasters.

But remember he loves you.

And let us not forget about the flood where he just killed every living thing on the planet....I find that rather morbid. And its quite possible that if he exists, he enjoys killing people.

well your own question states that "the earth is filled with violence through them".. If the whole world was full of violence, then why wouldn't God judge the world. Do we as human beings let the people riot and burn and do nothing about it?? God did something about it as it was the whole world except for Noah..
When a judge sends a murderer to be executed is the judge then a murderer??? NO! Neither is God a murderer and you are forgetting that we are subject to his laws and owe him for everything that we have.. Judgment is coming again, will you call God a murderer again????
2Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Genesis 6:4-7 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

God is NOT a mass murderer...and if you read those verses in the context as they are meant to be read...you will see that the sons of God(fallen angels) came unto the daughters of men and had relations with them...in other words...those fallen angels corrupted God's creation. The reason they did that, was to prevent the Messiah from being born. As you can see, God put a stop to their shenanigans by flooding the earth and all the corruption.

Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

As you can see, the reason Noah was spared was he was still perfect...not corrupted.

You are way off on this one!

Murder is the premeditated unlawful killing of one human being by another through any action intended to kill or cause grievous bodily harm. Legalised killing, such as genocide, can also constitute murder if it violates international law.

As with most legal terms, the precise definition varies between jurisdictions. For example, in the United States anyone who commits a serious crime during which any person dies, is guilty of murder.

Since God is always just, it is impossible for him to kill unlawfully!

at the same time as human beings say such issues as what you're putting forward, it continually strikes me as a guarded way of putting forward, "If i did not count on a god, i ought to slaughter everyone i did not like." it is not any longer the fault of atheists that such countless believers experience that the merely element that stops them from committing acts of evil is their conception that they are going to be punished for them. countless atheists discover secular motives to act with politeness in the route of others. the actual incontrovertible reality that there have been some somewhat evil atheists isn't properly as hence of atheism. which could be like arising a itemizing of evil dictators who did not assemble baseball playing cards and putting forward that no longer amassing baseball playing cards is the authentic rigidity at the back of the mass murders of historic past. you could't properly justify movements on the premise of a non-conception in deities on my own. If there is not any god or gods, it would not follow that all and numerous behaviors are permissible - there remains a social settlement, and there are nonetheless techniques of behaving that bring about raised outcomes than others.

I suppose that's one way of looking at it, but keep in mind that because God created everything, he alone has the right to destroy whatever he sees fit to destroy. We don't have any right to kill because we have no right or claim on anyone else's life. God on the other hand has every right to our lives because he gave them to us in the first place and don't say God is being an indian giver then. We all die eventually, so eventually we'll give them back.

Mass murderes are never "great". The christians have been trying for a thousand-plus years to beat God's death tally though. Someday I think, in the name of the Lord, the christians will surpass even their mythical God as the most murderous SOB ever.

Who r u to question God? He is merciful beyond our concept of mercy. Not only that, in this day of age, the world is becoming the modern day saddam and gammorah. If it was not for His son Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, we would all have been destroyed by now. And how merciful is a man who would allow His son to pay the penalty for others? Would You? I dont think so.
