No one can explain it to people who can see and read, why would being blind and illiterate be any different?

There was a story about the blind preacher who traveled and preached in the more rural areas of America around 1830 or before. The nerrator of the incident found him forceful and moving as in his blindness he poured out his best. The line that he ended the meeting with was "Socrates died like a philosopher, but Jesus Christ, like a God!"

As you can see, even the blind can see the glory of God. In the movie I believe entitled "the Robe", there was this lame girl who came to have faith, despite the fact that she was not immediately cured of her burden.

God is like the wind. You can't see him but you can feel him. You feel him when you're about to get hit by a bus and something pushes out the way. If you don't see anyone, it was him. God is a friend who's there for you.

i could try. i have never seen God, nor have i heard His voice, other than my concience and the spoken word from biblical scholars.

but even for those of us who can see, there is a difficulty in explaining something that cannot be seen, felt, tasted or smelled.
