Real butter does not, but hydrogenated oil does. That is what most "butters" are made of. It aggravates ADHD along with refined flour and sugar. Milk that has been homogenized will do the same thing.

Nope. Butter is calories that take a looooooong time to burn. Energy releases very slowly.
Sugar! Now THAT is fast calories. Burns fast. Burns now! If you don't burn it off quickly, the energy is stored in fat cells.
Pasta, and other complex carbohydrates burn at a steady, fairly rapid rate, but not as fast as sugar, the simple carb. That's why runners carbo load before a long race. Pasta gives a steady fuel supply. Burn it all off, won't turn to fat. Win / Win!

It can if you are allergic to the peptides in dairy products. Studies are being made of the effects of gluten and dairy allergens in autistic and ADHD children. If the intestines cannot break up these compounds it can cause adverse reactions in the chemicals of the brain, and can lead to hyperactivity and other behavioral/learning problems

I am not sure about adults, but a lot of children have milk allergies that manifest as hyperactiveness. I had it as a child but outgrew it.
