How to make homemade sprouts?

Question

Hi I usually buy sprouts at the store to put in my salads and sandwiches but theyre kind of expensive..I recently herd there is a way to make them at home from lentils..

Is this correct? And if so can somebody please tell me how to do this?

You simply put then in a jar with a wet paper towel and they grow. Best wishes
