Where do you live maybe we can help you find a Masjid near you. Sometimes they are there and you do not know it.

You can pray at your own home.

Prayer or salat is the profession of the faith through prayer, 5 times a day. This will begin at seven. The prayer is to be performed at sunrise, noon, afternoon, evening and night while facing Makkah, the holy city and center of Islam, Muslims, individually or in a group, can perform their prayers. The prayer can be as long or short as needed from 2 to 30 minutes. Before prayer one must be clean, therefore the ceremonial bathing or Wudu must be performed. Here the hands are washed the right first three times, then the mouth three times, the nose three times, the arms wrist to elbows beginning with the right, the face three times, the head and ears one time each, ending with the feet right then left to the ankle. Without this ritual washing, a symbolic restoration of the believer to original purity and balance, the salat is not valid. If there is no water one may use sand. When praying one may pray in the mosque or alone, if a mosque is unavailable, a prayer rug may serve as a mosque. if the prayer does not have a rug the Muslim can pray anywhere that is clean. One should be focused facing Makkah and Ka'abah. The prayer is a process of several bows before and placing the head on the floor, during which one will recite the Takbir, “Allaha Akbar” or “God is greatest." By placing the head on floor you are as low as you can be to God, showing submission to God. On Friday there is a communal prayer. Only men are required to attend the Friday congregational prayer. If woman attend, for reasons of modesty due to the prostrations, they stand at the back, often separated by a curtain, or in a side room.

First Let me congratulate you for embracing the only way of life that is Islam. I can understand your problem as you might be living in some small town where there is no Muslim community nearby. FIrstly tell me where do you live, maybe I an find some nearby community where Yo can go and learn about the method of offering the prayer.

Secondly, Just browse Internet, e.g if youlive in Texas, u can put in Search engine, "Muslim community in Texas". I am sure you will find some.

Thirdly, if you have taken this mighty step then do one little thing more, immigrate to some place for a time being which has many Muslim communities and Masjids (Mosques). Once you learn everything you can open a small centre in your own town for other aspirers of Truth to learn something regarding Islam from you.

Finally, make a dua (Pray) to Allah (God) for his Help, I am sure he will open new ways for you so that you can learn and teach this unique way of Life which is known to the mankind as "Islam"..

May Allah blees you.... Ameen....

Muslims are encouraged to pray in mosques but it's not obligation. You can pray at home and will get rewarded by Allah. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged praying in mosques by saying that Allah gives 27 times more reward to pray in mosque than home. Maybe, after a few years, more people in your area embrace Islam or Muslims from other areas move to your area, then they all can work together and construct a new small mosque or dedicate an existing room/hall for a mosque. Till then, you can pray at your home.

Salam :) i'm a Muslim youngster residing in Canada. I placed on hijab alhamdullilah and that's for the most section conventional the following considering the fact that i stay in a huge city with a tremendous Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots in college notwithstanding who ask stuff like "yo were given a bomb less than there hahaha". notwithstanding the hardest section is being different out of your friends. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys wearing revealing clothing etc is haram, and at the same time as i do not prefer to attempt this besides, that's slightly awkward to could clarify why i do not do it to those who evaluate it basically part of being a smooth individual and its straight forward to them. Muslims residing in Muslim international places certainly have it a lot less complicated at the same time as it includes setting up in. And with food that's slightly complicated yet I continuously attempt to study the label if i'm not effective of the substances. yet i'd not wanna be the different faith no remember how complicated it receives and how different i think from all of us else, i'm satisfied to be Muslim :)

You need to travel to a Mosque and be given instruction in the faith. Use the Yahoo search word "Mosques near you" and find the closest one. Without instruction in the faith, you will never be a real Muslim.

peace be upon you brother!

first i would like to congratulate you.
second, check out this website to see the nearest mosque:

http://islamicfinder.com

there are five prayers a day. but i fear it might be hard to learn them on your own. here is a flash presentation.
http://english.islamway.com/flashpage.php?id=2&cat=1&file_name=PrayerBeg&width=782&hight=438

once you learn them, it should take about 5 min (10 minutes max under normal circumstances) to pray each of them.

i will direct you into a (decent) muslim forum just in case you need further support.

cults don't need mosques

Be very suspicious if they give you a back pack with the info you want, then tell you to go stand in a crowded place.
