I just had two tooth extractions on 7/27/2006. I had a major infection on my lower jaw.I went to work the next day.I was not able to last more than 20 minutes.I am feeling so much pain. And was running a fever. So I ask my boss if I could go home.He was very rude and said to just go home. But not to come back unless,I had a note from my dentist.MY question is I am still feeling very sick, and still swollen.I am taking antibiotics that are just making me feel crappy! I just dont want to loose my job.How do I get a doctors note.My next appointment with my dentist is 8/2/2006.Stitches will be removed. That is the same day, that I am schedule to go back to work! I am afraid.

you can call the dentists office and have them fax a note to your work the day before you have to go back. or you can go to the office yourself and have them write on for you and then you will have it when you get back to work. if you have it faxed you need to call your work and make sure they got it so you don't get in trouble if it doesn't get there. good luck!
