I think they should do the work at school!! When i use to work on cars I diden work on them when i got home. Because that was MY time!! And to me homework is a bunch of B/S. What are they trying to teach by giving home work? when you get a job you dont bring you work home with you . SO why do the teachers get to .. f-up the kids night as well as there days... And then give you a F for not doing it..That sucks!! If I was working and my boss said you have to take this car home with you and fix it tonight. I would tell him to shuve that car up his azz!! I worked all day I be damned if I am going to work all night to... But you think teachers give a shi* about if kid don't want to do home work? NO they dont care. They hope you don't do it so they can give you a "F" and you heard it here first from a REAL nutcase!!!"""NUT'S"""..PS ...did i win...did i wn...did i win???

Actually that's not true for adults. Doctors such as myself have to research our patients conditions. This can literally take weeks for one medical condition especially if the condition is rare. Executives have projects that have deadlines which sometimes require them to work in the evenings and cut into their personal time. Lawyers have to sometimes meet with their clients in the evening and they also have to do legal research even though they have the luxery of having a paralegal. I do think that they should limit the amount of homework. I feel that it is okay to give a child homework but not when they are so bogged down and they are working into the wee hours of the night. 1 hour a day is good.
