You need to have a Cold heart or Evil heart.

Be obsessed with money and power.

Once you have millions, are powerful, have lots of people under your command, then who cares about love and weakling things like that. You will be too busy enriching and empowering yourself and this will be such and addiction that love will seam a waste of time and not interesting.

POWER is the remedy to EVERYTHING. A cold evil heart is impervious to everything.

There is no way to avoid that. Unless you want to stay single for a while that will probably help! Just wait for the person you think is worth sharing your love with. Then you will lessen your chances of getting a heart broken! Like i said before you cant avoid it but you can lessen your chances of getting a broken heart!!!

Basicially, like alot of the people have already mentioned, dont fall in love. But love really is like a drug, the best type of magic..and blah..blah....lol . Its just one of those price tags that comes along with love, getting a broken heart. If you do happen to get in a relationship, the best thing you can do is to be mentally prepared for anything. You could just say to yourself, its probably bound to happen, my heart will get broken. If you are already mentally prepared for it, it will be a little bit eaiser to re-coop back to your normal self again. If perhaps your not ready for a broken heart, I guess holding out on the relationships will do until your ready to accept that just maybe in fact you will get your heart broken. It definitely is hard to recover from a broken heart, but its really amazing to be in love. It all depends on what your ready for and etc.

Good luck!

You can't. It's a part of life...it actually makes life more ummmm...meaningful in some strange way. Think of it this way....it happens to everyone. Don't be scared, if it ever happens, you'll survive it. I've survived about 3...and I'm still not scared to love...call me crazy...but I'm having fun! It's freeing to allow your heart to love and be loved....so what if they leave, praise God, then they were not meant to be with you anyway...making room for the right one!

My mom told me once to go ahead, jump off the diving board, it's okay..just make sure water is in the pool (that the love is reciprocated).

You only live once...love A LOT!

Would you really want to avoid happiness for the risk of getting your heart broken?
Life is for living and break-ups and heartbreak is all part of life!
Concentrate on the good bits of life or your relationship and stop worrying about what might be!

Don't fall in love. Become a hermit. Don't get a pet because they will die and your heart will break. A broken heart is one of life's grand experiences. You love and know you are human. Later you will know how great love is and you will have a more open heart for true love. Dang that's schmaltzy.

Don't use it. That's really my only advice. Everyone gets their heart broken sooner or later whether you want to hear it or not. So if you don't want it to get broken, the only thing you can do is not use it!
