You can't stop him from being mad about not getting what he wants. But you should be clear and direct about what you want without being mean.

So just say something like, "I'm sorry, you seem to be a nice enough person, but keeping company with you just does not appeal to me. Please stop asking me out."

Honey you just can't be nice to some people, they interpret it as encouragment. He appears to be one of them..so next time just say something like what exactly is it about NO that you can't comprehend? if that doesn't do it then kick it up another notch until you get to F*CK OFF LOSER, if that doesn't work then a restraining order is called for.

Tell him that you make it a hard and fast rule not to date anyone from work. Add that because you want everyone at work to be your friend, you would hate to jeopardize your friendship with him by dating him. If that still does not work, knock him over the head. He sounds kind of dense anyway.

Ok, you let him hug you. Pretty soon he'll be kissing you goodbye. Then the 'friendly' grope when you pass in the hall.

DON'T LET HIM HUG YOU!. Freakin no brainer there. You're just playing with his head. If you turn him down and then make yourself available physically, what do you expect?

Guys don't get hints. You have to flat out tell him that youre not interested in dating him.

Hon, that's sexual harrassment, tell him if he doesn't stop right now, you will report him to management.
Don't put up with it, its against the law. He should know better.

just tell him straight and clear

" Sorry I dont want to go out with you - you are a nice guy but not my type and please dont hug me it makes me uncomfortable"

no other way of dealing with it -
