Yes! I have exactly the same problem and I'm also a bit phobic about being sick myself and so if anyone says they are feeling ill and are near me I get completely paranoid and start having panic attacks and then I start feeling sick myself!!!
I haven't got children yet but I hope to eventually, however, I'm really worried how I'm going to cope when my future children throw up!
I haven't had help for it but I think I might have to do hypnotherapy or something because it gets worse as I get older!

hehe!! I hate sick! Sick and cat poo are my 'things I just dont do unless I have too'. I got two kids and its a nightmare. My son is now 15 - unfortunately for me, he is quite a sick kid, as in he gets bad headaches, chucks up and then he is fine again. I had a period when he was sick everynight for over a month, lucky for me his dad used to clear it up. However - dad is not living here anymore, so now when the kids are sick I have to deal with it. I gag and retch and generally am not much use to the poor little sods, my son now tells me to leave him alone so he can do it in peace!! My daughter, thankfully is not a sick person. I just have to hold my breath and just not look. The thought is enough to make me gag!! And cat poo has the same effect!!
Get some Vicks to rub round your nose. My sis is in forensics and she uses this when she has to look at dead bodies and stuff. Its the overpowering smell of Vicks that works.

Hey, its nice to know I'm not alone!! I cannot stand to be near anyone being sick, not even my dog!! I will run a mile! Just the sound is enough for me.I' afraid that if I'm near anyone, they are on their own, don't look to me for help, cos,I'm off!!
No, I've not had any help with it. A phobia with spiders, the cure is to let them crawl on you, imagine what the cure is for sick phobia, gosh, it doesn't bear thinking about!! Yuk,I'm off, I'm gonna be sick!!!
