Basically I know this girl, and she is the epitome of perfect. Her eye contact literally makes me shiver. We can laugh and talk about anything.
I instantly knew I wanted to marry this girl the moment I heard her giggle.
I'm almost 99% she's fond of me as well.
We started talking and stuff, and well, she brought up the fact of her "Guy/boy" friend.
She said they have been friends for quite some time, and they tried the "going out" thing, but it doesn't seem to be working out.
What does that mean? Why is she telling me this?

She is being honest about her relationship, and that it's just not working for her. No real chemistry involved with them.
Wait until they break up, and then ask her if she's like to go out on a date.
She could just be talking to you as a friend, or letting you know, that she soon will be available.
Only she knows for sure.
Easiest thing to do, is ask her.

what we think sometimes doesnt always work out the way we want it, because human being have a tendency to think what they feel is right even though the possibility of them being wrong is great..so maybe you think she is into you, but she actually isnt. My advice is for you to ask her exactly what she means by what she is saying...if u dont have the guts to do so just find someone else who will appreciate you for who you are.....

She is just testing to see if you are interested in her. It doesn't necessarily mean she is going to break up with her boyfriend but she still wants to know what you think of her. Also she is testing to see if your boyfriend material or not. Don't go all wimp at this moment. Be understanding, but if you ever want this relationship to go past friendship your going to have to let her know that upfront.

Unless she's talking about you in an indirect way, it sounds like she's just letting you know she might be single soon, take the hint.

maybe she is trying to get you to ask her out...
or maybe she just sees you as a guy friend that she can talk to
i'm not sure, you should hang out more, and maybe kick up the flirting a notch or two and see how she responds.
