the effects of a proper Warm-up and cool down are widly accepted to be good practice particularly warming up before teeing off!
but a cool down from a round of golf, is not usually standard practice however, if you had problems with back and knee joints and muscles, then i would suggest streaching for 5 mins after a round of golf to help maintain supplety!

The walk to the parking lot is enough of a physical cool down. We're golfing, not playing rugby or soccer! A nice shower followed by a favorite beverage offers an excellent mental cool down.

The best cool down for golf is to drink beer at the 19th hole. It is important because you can talk about your round and beer is good for you. As Ben Franklin said, "Beer is evidents that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
