If your monitor flickers or if you are too close or if you spend long periods without a rest or if you sit in the dark looking at the bright screeny Yes.
Try to get up and take a walk every 15 or 20 minutes, strech and then return. Sit comfortably and never less than 60 cms away from the screen.
If you use glasses and you use the computer frequently, talk to your optometrist. They can make you glasses particularly for computer use to keep your eyes rested. This and the following will keep you from getting headaches from using the computer inadeqately.
If you don't have a flatscreen (TFT) or a laptop screen, it may be "drawing" the picture too slowly on the screen. This is the refresh rate and on newer CRT screens, the big boxy ones, the ideal refresh rate is 85 Hz or higher.
On a PC you check this by right-clicking on the desktop, anywhere that is icon-free. and left-clicking on "Properties". Click on the "Settings" tab and click on "Advanced", "Adapter" and "List all modes" Choose from the list any of the listed 85 Hz combinations (the other numbers refer to the resolution, the number of dots used to draw the image on the screen. The usual nowadays is 1024 x 760. The other is 800 x 600.)
Click on "Apply". You are shown a little window that explains itself. The computer tries the new setup. If you can still see things, click OK. If all goes black, wait the 15 seconds and the computer goes back to how it was before.
Hows that for an answer? :D

Depends on what you mean by weird.
Sometimes if you are doing the same thing, you seem to get an afterimage - play a specific game, see the screen when your not playing.
Computer screens are not the same distance from your eyes as reading a book or watching television. Some people need special glasses for this distance.

For me, yeah. I have to get up every now and then and stretch and focus on something farther away.
