Some home-made dressing, not the stuff you buy in the store.
Or do you ever put just olive oil on your salad and then spice it up? If you do what spices do you use? Thanks!

2/3 part olive oil, 1/3 part rice wine vinegar, splash of lemon or lime juice, mix all this with, freshly ground pepper (about 15 turns), 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt, 2- cloves of crushed garlic (or garlic powder if you don't have any fresh), crushed fresh parsley enough so you can get a good aroma from it, fresh basil about 4-5 leaves crushed, or 1 tsp dried. If you mix this all together until emulsifed then drizzle over salad and toss, it is fabulous.

You can also use this over salmon or any fish and serve over a wilted salad and it's delicious. I also like pine nuts or sunflower seeds in my salads.

Olive oil and a red wine vinegar. You can throw different herbs and spices to suit your taste. My Aunt makes what she calls the "Ghetto" salad dressing. She uses mayo, lemon juice, lots of freshly ground pepper and salt to taste. It is a really quick, and simple way to dress a salad, and it does taste really good.

In the state of Nebraska there is a dressing called Dorthy Lynch its real good. When I was a kid we use to mix Ketchup and Mayo to make a kind of french dressing. More then likely not very healthy.

mmmm...salad, my favorite! Red onions, Italian mix lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, pepperoni...most impotantly, croutons. Then use thousand island dressing or ranch or parmesan peppercorn, or just use olive oil and balsamac vinagerette.

For a nice green salad add fresh straberries, almond sliver, feta cheese, and a rasberry vinigrette. This is a great and tasty salad to try. But don't just trust me, try it.
