Well I'll assume that your not a dog and that you lack the ability to detect drugs by smell alone.
It would be the same as any police unit for that matter (maybe specialised in narcotics).
On top of that training in animal handling.
Oh yeah and Australian citizenship.
Pretty much all of this you'd look into once you join up with the force.

Criteria one - u have to b a dog & like to sniff peoples crutches & a*ses.
Criteria two - u musen't hump your owners leg,back or face.
