I originally had white and dark red/burgundy, i was going to have bridesmaids in red dresses, and white bouquets then I would have a red bouquet. We are getting married on the beach, so I thought Aqua would look good too- should i just stick with white and red? I want an elegant classy look

Sorry. Aqua would not look good with burgundy or red. Aqua might look good with white and cocoa brown, on the beach. It would incorporate the ocean, sand and sky. You could use some beach grass in the bouquets.

The burgundy and white are good choices, or the aqua and white are good choices. I wouldn't be mixing the burgundy and aqua...if you want a green color, I would go with a deep forest green, which will look stupid on the beach.

Actually, if you haven't already done the bridesmaids gown, you might want to rethink the burgundy as well, I personally think it's going to be too heavy feeling for a beach wedding. You want something light and flowy. You can make any color elegant, I would just go with something more pastel for a beach wedding. Or if you want red, make it a clear, apple or cherry red, something very bright. The style of the dresses can be very elegant. Good luck!

I think the aqua would be really nice. I'm not sure about the burgundy for a beach wedding. It might be too dark, but its up to you. I would definitely go with the aqua though. What about a rose colour, like that dark dusty, pinky colour? That would be really pretty too. Good luck!

If what I think is Aqua is the same as what you're thinking, I think it would brighten up the flowers and the dresses. I wouldn't do large amounts of Aqua and I think maybe just stick to it in the flowers and the decorations but it would still look nice and classy to my way of thinking.

Burgundy and aqua don't match. Teal might, depending on the shade. A better option might be hunter green, but then that would bring it all to Christmas colours, wouldn't it. Oh, Navy Blue - that's the ticket...

burgundy is really to dark for a beach wedding. I would do aqua and ivory.

Aqua is wrong for any time, let alone a wedding, and let alone with red and white!

The red and white sounds nice - don't ruin it!

All the best!

I agree with a previous answer. Red would compliment agua a lot better than burgundy.

Ultimately, it's YOUR day. No one elses. Do what YOU want. If you want colors that other people think will clash, then so what. If that's what you want, then go for it. You're the one that is going to have to look at them in pictures for the rest of your life.
