How do you get rid of a guy that you have a kid with, have been dating for 5 years, and live with in a house.?

I want to break up with this guy I have been dating for quite a while. He lives with me but will not go. I can't move on until he leaves my comfort zone. After 5 years I am disgusted with the relationship..I know relationships get better than this!

First off I'd tell you to try to work on the relationship, rather than just complain about it.

Assuming you've done that and haven't gotten him to do whatever it is that you want him to do. Then just tell him to leave.

Once you get him to believe you that you really do want him to leave and its not a joke, he'll go ahead and get out. Just don't try to keep him from his child. That would be pretty wrong, no matter what kind of idiot he is, its still the kids father.

Change the locks on your door. Stay away from home for awhile. Live with a friend or sister. Have someone else let him in to get his things. Take your child with you when you leave.

you don't you have a kid with him you don't have to be "involved" with him and you get the balls to get honest and tell him this. you end your relationship as far as sex and living together but you never get rid of him. the best advice i know is honesty. and if its over the smartest thing i did was to quit having sex with that person because this helps to take out the emotional side of life
