with roots growing stronger,
each passing moment of my life."
I'd take out (here) and maybe find another word for (growing) because you are using it twice and it's a short poem. The idea and meaning behind it is beautiful, and I'm sure however you leave it, the message will come across to her and she will appreciate it.

Personally, the word "growing" twice in a sentence seems to indicate either a lack of vocabulary or a lack of imagination. Other than that, it's OK. If some guy I wasn't infatuated with said that to me, I'd roll my eyes and want to puke like I did when I read it just now. BUT, if I was already infatuated with you and thought you were sliced bread, then that would be pretty cool. It all has to be placed in context. My own husband isn't an over-the-top kind of man, so if he came up with it, I'd laugh at him. It would be so out of character. But if you're always so passionate, you can probably get away with it.

Girls don't like poetry. Do something masculine. She'll appreciate it more. The poetry thing might seem nice at the time, but baring your soul to her like that is only going to make her bored. Keep the mystery, do something with her that will give her a sense of adventure, and always keep her wanting more of what you have going on in your life. That's more in line with the results you're after, I think. Good luck dude. ;)

Nice line but I suggest you rhyme and say "You will always be in my heart, you're the only girl I can see my love countinues to grow daily like a tree." but maybe that's just me I mean that's a good line.
