I'm a 15 year old guy, and my family acts like they don't even know me. Today me and my cousin went to our family company and they told us to leave because I was with her, they are rude to me and don't talk to me I just don't get them..I rather be poor and have a family that loves and encourages me than be rich and have a family that doesn't..Can you help?

Have you ever heard the saying "You have to give respect to get respect"? Listen, hun, you may feel like they don't respect you, but sometimes you have to do nice things for a family member to get them to realize that you can actually be close. Invite them to dinner... or even write them a letter telling them that YOU love them and miss them... give it a try and I think you will find that you will have reciprication beyond what you can imagine!
