Bottled water is (supposed to be) tightly regulated
so its contents are more predictable.
Some places have wonderful tap water and it may
actually be better for you than the water out of
a bottle - particularly because many places put
florine in the water (which protects your teeth).
Indeed, bottled water is frequently blamed by
dentists for the recent rise in cavities.
However, water in other places can be dreadful.
There are certain contstraints that it must meet
but they are pretty low.
So ... it really depends on what water you are
avoiding by taking bottled water.
I try to avoid bottled water because tap water won't
kill me and I'd like to keep my teeth for a few
more years.

I don't know that bottled water is better for you or not. But it is nice to be able to get water in the store instead of a soda when you are on a trip or something. When I buy water at a store, I keep the bottles and refill them with tap water and put in the fridge. That way I can always tell my kids there is something cold to drink waiting for them. I like being able to grab a bottle at a moments notice too.

It's a scam. Most bottled water comes from city taps. You need the fluoride in regular water.

you aren't to any extent further getting tap water for free. You pay for it, regardless of the very undeniable actuality that the price is way decrease. some bottled waters are scams. A 'spring' may easily purely be from a persons' tap. even as i purchase bottled water, i hit upon i ought to extremely have a distilled water than something that announces to be from a spring, on account that that easily ought to be boiled to eliminate impurities.

It depends on the quality of tap water where you live, but it is often a scam. If your tap water is clean and tastes fine, just drink it. It might even be better for you because it contains fluoride that will help your teeth.

If bottled water was cheaper, maybe but I have to go with scam. It might have fewer chemicals in it but in the long haul, it would be cheaper for you to buy a filter or a filtered pitcher and fill your own bottles.

Most states have laws that bottled "spring" water doesn't have to be anymore pure than tap water. That doesn't mean its not, that's just a minimum guideline.
The only way to be sure is to drink either distilled water, or purified water.
