Regarding the second part of your question, some people don't believe on kissing on the first date because it is too intimate, and may imply a level of commitment that is not there.

-leave the other person wanting to come back for more
-because it's modest
-they want to take it slow
-they don't want to send the wrong messages

Firstly i dont agree to anyone's answer in the list , secondly let me answer u ..... A french kiss is more of a confirmation tat u trust a person ...it is tru that a lot of tongue is in picture but its a very fascinating feeling and gives a tremondeous feeling of security to both the partners .... also its just a pracital way of saying i trust u ... and yes ppl dont kiss on the first date cos its usually very difficult to trust on the firt date ( Exceptions are always there)...(This Is experience unlike the ameture replies u've got till now )

french kissing is with your tongues inside each others mouth , and i dont know anyone who hasnt kissed on the first date

u basically do a regular kiss except ur toungue is in his/her mouth. now i dont know why people dont believe in kissing on the first date. me and my boyfriend kissed on our first date.

I belive in kissing on the first date! you french kiss when your kissing him and you stick your tongue in his mouth and his in yours
