I keep collecting things? If I am out for a walk I pick odd things up...examples I found an old rusty caster from a chair, someones lost glass frames (no lenses), the pull off of a zipper, a door knob, a clothes pin....wierd stuff like that.. is this some kinda disorder????

Yes, I sounds like some kind of compulsion. Maybe when you go out take a bag with you so when you pick things up you can throw the garbage away and do a good deed also.

I have to agree with Ostego. When I did this I was very young and it was steming through emotions I was having , but did not how to interpert it. There is a disorder called OCD. I am sure you can google it in and take a self test.

It might be a form of obsessive compulsive disorder...or bag lady. Just teasing. Might be influence from a past life, too.

could be a slight obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) but i wouldn't worry until your house starts to fill up with old newspapers and broken small appliances lol

I have an uncle just like that we call him crazy! But hey you might find something really valueable some day. Like a really expensive watch or something. happened to my uncle

It's called "Hoarding" and it if begins to control your life then see someone. Most people that hoard things do it to for fill an emptiness.

I think it stems from a past life obsession or hobby.. Not to worry. Go with it, unless u think it is interfering with your day to day routines or commitments.
