Everyone raps and sings about it but they used to rap about Cristal and when I finally tasted it, it tasted more like rubbing alcohol than anything. Just curious, I have yet to taste it.

It's a tequila. It's meant to be sipped while very very cold. It's not for mixing - why pay the money for something that good and then mix it into something that Cuervo would taste just as good in? It's like taking a gold ring and then hiding it in sterling silver plating. It's also not meant to be shot - the flavour is supposed to be appreciated.
Tequila is an acquired taste - if you don't like it, don't worry too much about it. Just find something else that you like!

It all depends on your personal tastes. If you're not a fan of tequila, you probably won't like it. Personally, I enjoy Patron more than most tequilas in part because it's 100% blue aquava so a little more sweet and it's a reposado (aged) tequila. I prefer it straight up as a shot and not mixed with another liquor or in a margarita.

Patron is not tasty...it has the flavor of any other hard liquor that is not made into a mixed drink....It is however a very ,very high quality Tequila.......and makes a extremely delicious and potent Strawberry margarita....try it ...you will love .

ima cheap drunk but will drink patron if someone buys it for me, but id be happy with juarez just the same.
