Great question... difficult answer
1st off, most beers made from the large breweries arent technically beers because of the high rice content.

If you are into a hoppy kind of flavor, rumination or Arrogant Basterd by stone brewery are very good. Arrogant basterd has a IBU reading of 100 (International bitterness units) and rumination is off the charts.

Guiness is a great autumn kind of beer, and is my personal favorite stout beer.

As a Lager, you cant beat Sam Adams.

A summery beer is really a preference. I hate mexican beer... so I prefer Hefewiezen, which is a good light beer.

If your really into beer, try your hand at microbrewing. Me and my friends just started our brewery buisness less then 6 months ago and have been having a great time so far!

Just for general swilling it would have to be Miller Lite or Corona. If I want to savor the taste you cannot go wrong with anything from the Sam Adams line. Guinness, Bass, and Red Stripe are also good.

When I'm feeling out of the ordinary... Lambic Belgian Framboise (Raspberry) Beer -- it's delicious!
