It's deffinatley not a good idea to send cash through the mail. If you don't have a checking account, you can get a money order at almost any grocery store or a cashiers check at any bank. It is not illegal for them to say they don't accept cash as they are a private business.

no, you shouldn't pay anything, with cash through the mail. that is crazy. there are still thieves in the postal system ,as sad as it seems ,and if not there then at the credit card company. they could deny you ever sent in the payment. best bet is a money order or check or cashiers check

Not unless you want someone to find that envelope full of cash and take off with it. It's never a good idea to put cash in an envelope and mail it. Businesses have a policy against excepting cash to protect you. So please rethink that if this is the direction you were about to go in.

Not a good idea to send cash in the mail, if someone steals it, you're screwed. Send either a check or cashier's check, unless you pay it online. Most money orders are void if over $800.00 so a cashier's check is probably the best way to go.

Don't send cash in the mail. You need some sort of receipt, as well. Make a money order or cashier's check and sent that.

This depends on the agreement which you have with the credit card company. It is unlikely that they will accept payment in this way and you cannot force them to do so. It would also be extremely unwise to attempt to pay like this; there are too many dishonest people out there.

you can, but THAT is even more stupid than having a balance on your credit card! Get a money order if you don't have a checking account. Then you at least have a receipt!
