We're surrounded by chaos, it's part of the universe we live in. We can't control everything, sometimes we can't control anything. But true peace does exist. Without it you wouldn't recognize chaos. We tend to focus on the active crazy stuff instead of the silence of true peace, our minds are attracted to it, in fact we crave it, to a degree. When it gets too crazy you can always learn to shut off your attraction to it. Breathe. Get away from it. Turn off the tube and the music. Pay attention to silence. Then accept chaos as a gift.

Yes you most certainly can. I am around chaos everyday but I am at Peace. That is what is so wonderful about Jesus. He can calm us during the storms of life.

As long as I'm trying to do the right thing and am in good standing with GOD yes. Life is all about how we will handle the chaos that comes our way, and if we will turn to GOD in our time of need or against him because of it.

That depends. Where do you personally derive your peace from? your surroundings? then no. Peace comes from within. If you have Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then you have the Peace that surpasses all understanding.
