OK, pay attention, this is not difficult:
1. Target the employers of the illegals. This past tax season, the IRS reported on a restaurant company that had 30,000 cases of duplicate Social Security Numbers. Start there. Show perp-walks of the CEOs being led away in hand cuffs going to meet Bubba in the county jail. Then hit the hotel chains, other restaurants, meat packing facilities - anywhere with high illegal alien concentrations.
2. Enforce the $10,000 PER ILLEGAL fine. If it shuts down a company, so be it. You broke the law, you pay the price. Literally.
3. Lock down the border through a combination of more personnel, fences and electronic surveillance. Pay for it with the fines mentioned above.
Do these three things and the jobs will dry up. The illegals will deport themselves. Wages for American and legal immigrant poor will increase through the law of supply and demand. Our major domestic terrorist security threat - a porous border - will be fixed.

It doesn't have to be done overnight. It could take years. But anyone who breaks the law must expect a penalty. You cannot have the advantages of citizenship without going through the due process.
What about the several million people quietly waiting in their own countries to complete the legal process and immigrate? Do you think the people who break the law deserve more respect than those that follow it?
Any illegal alien should be deported, and put to the back of the line for any future immigration application.
Any illegal alien returning after deportation should have a jail sentence and then be deported again, with NO right to ever apply for citizenship.

Give them 2.5 years to learn English, make a contribution to society (ie work get a job and pay taxes) and some other stuff Im not thinking of / then make them citizens. Any that commit crimes or dont meet the 2.5 year deadlines. Deport them or put them in a supermax prison.

Here's a NEWSFLASH!!!!!!! It would Actually cost us More to keep them here and make them Legal. WHY HOW you ask. Well Most Illegals are unskilled laborers. Placing them in the Lower paid jobs. If we make them LEGAL then they would qualify for TONS of Government subsidies such as Food Stamps, Medical assistance < Not that they pay for it now > Not to mention the ones that commit other crimes other than entering illegally and the list goes on and on.

If we quit giving them all the welfare-YES WE DO-
and re-allocate that money being wasted we would have MORE than enough to round em all up and get rid of them and still have enough to pay down our national debt!
You think I am kidding but I know first hand in my state what's going where and I will tell you right now we would have more than enough to get rid of ALL of them and then some and build the dang fence with razor wire and electricity just for good measure.

ok again, they do pay income tax (the majority) and it is with a fake SS, a number that has not yet been issued to a person, so therefore is not an actual number. I dont see any way that you can force someone to pay for their own captivity.
