im going to go see it in Chicago tonight and im just wondering would it ok to wear like nice designer jeans?!

I wouldn't wear jeans - even the nice ones are too casual for the theatre. How abour dress slacks and a blouse? Enjoy the show - it's incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dress up for the theatre is part of the fun but there's no particular dress code unless you want to see the rocky horror picture show! get you're wig and suspenders out of the wardrobe. Lol. my friends went to see that a few weeks ago and they looked mental!!!
Back to the point just wear best shirt and trousers something but don't get OVER dressed. Don't fret if you wear jeans though, it's just more exciting if you dress up.

i saw wicked a few months ago in boston. you can wear whatever you'd like, some people dress up and some dress in jeans and t-shirts

Yes, nice designer jeans with a nice top and nice shoes would be wonderful. The age of dressing for the theater is dead. Now, people wear what is comfortable for them.

Nowadays no one really "dresses up" for shows. Its a bit nicer than what you would wear if you were going to the movies, but nothing formal. The jeans sound great, just pair them up with a nice top and heels and your good to go!

jeans are fine, but I recoment wearing somthing green, like elphaba, if you want to make the outfit a little memorable
