Nope. My parents (who have been married for 29 years) have different colored bands, and my fiance and I will have different colored bands as well. If it ever was an issue, it is a thing of the past. Congratulations and good luck!!

Most people will not notice that your rings are different. The only ring people look at is yours. They like to look at the engagement ring and the wedding ring. My husband hasn't worn his ring since we got married over 6 years ago. So no it is okay for you both to have different rings.

My husband has a yellow gold band, and I have a white gold set.... I don't think anyone else has ever noticed.
Quite frankly, I prefer my man in a yellow gold band 'cuz there's no mistaking his marital status when you see that gold puppy on his hand! It's the universal symbol for "stay away from my man!"

No one will notice, just you and your husband. Get the rings you both want, there's no wedding rule book that says both rings must be out of the same metal. Congrats and good luck!

Why would you want to match your own wedding rings to a guest book? Time to concentrate on the marriage ahead!

No one is going to care or notice the guest book rings.
Personally I dont care what color who's ring is. The important thing is what you and your bf want. If you think it would drive your whole famly nuts to have different colors, then think about changind. otherwise who really cares.

there is no rule about wedding rings having to be the same color. mine is white gold and his is yellow gold. we went with rings that we knew we would like to wear regardless of what color they were. we wanted to like our own wedding ring that we had to look at every day. so we're both happy and nobody has every said anything about it. you'll be fine girl. and congrats to you!

It's your choice to do what you want. It's too bad if people don't like it. If anyone says anything, just tell them that they you're into recycling and they are the rings from your first, second, AND third marriages. To heck with 'em if they can't take a joke.

different colors are fine - my ring is white gold, and my husband has a titanium ring.
