I am 13 and a vegetarian. I want to know how mutch protien i will need to grow up strong. I can still eat milk and eggs but not meat.

See this site that has best vegetarian diet. Nuts seeds and beans are high in protein so eat a little of that. Site also tells how Amercans get way too much protein causing high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes. Has info from American Heart Association with link to them.

Lowfat or nonfat yogurt and fresh spinach are surprisingly good sources of protein as well as calcium, so be sure to research nutrition directories and packages in the grocery store to find surprising sources of what you need. Be careful with the soy, it contains phytoestrogen which women should not have too much of. Also, it prohibits fat metabolism.

whey protien. you need one gram of protein for every lb of lean muscle mass that you have if you want to build muscle mass.
