Catholics and Orthodox are not the same, I grew up as an Orthodox in Greece. Trust me it is not, there only seems to be a slight respect between them than with other divisions…

From answer: “Christianity is believing in Christ so all of the above you just cant confuse religion with Christ religion was created by man not Christ. Catholic in the greek means universal so you be the judge”

That’s why in Greece we call them Romeo-Catholics, because their truth concearns them and not the hole world. Orthodoxy means “Upright Belief ”, so you can’t really judge a division by the fancy name they have chosen.

As these answers prove, the only correct religion is the one called Myism.

Which place makes the correct burger: McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, or Hardees?

It is the same, or should be, in the basic issues, they just serve it up with a different flair or emphasis. If I wanted, for whatever reasons, to worship as close to the early church as possible, I would go to an Eastern Orthodox church. If I was comfortable with various traditions of Roman Catholicism, I could go there. If I respected the 'read the Bible for yourself' then I would be Protestant. If I wanted a fair compromise between them, I would be Anglican (Episcopal). If I wanted to emphasize certain issues rigidly, I might become a Baptist, but if some of those issues were still important but not so rigid, Presbyterian. If I felt that there shouldn't be such strong distinctions between pastors and those in the pews (clergy and laity), then I would pick a group with Pietistic roots like Quakers or Brethren. If I felt that I needed to do absolutely everything I could to avoid doing the wrong things in life (commonly called sins), then I would look for Holiness-style roots, Wesleyian, Church of God, or some Churches of Christ. If I valued the prospect that God still speaks to and through us personally, then I'd look for a Pentecostal or Charismatic church.

Business does not make one style and color of something called a shirt--but we have choices of colors, fabrics, collars, buttons, etc. I wear a crewneck t-shirt under that. My father a v-neck. My son prefers the sleeveless undershirt (the "wife beater" look, as some say). How do you follow Christ, depends on how you feel you need to follow Christ. That determines which church fits you best. If you don't follow Christ, then it doesn't matter. If you choose one, and I choose another, then that also doesn't matter. Romans 14:4 says, "Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand."

The Catholic Church contains the fullness of religious truth, because it's the Church that Christ founded in Matthew 16.

The Eastern Orthodox Churches are very close -- their doctrines and teachings are almost identical to ours, apart from the fact that they don't recognize the authority of the Pope.

Protestantism also contains a great deal of religious truth, but in other ways falls short.

Time to blow your mind. They are all right. They follow God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is the theologians that are wrong. Theologians are man thus fallible The nit picky little things that are said between denominations is just that. When we talk to someone that we do not know and you can feel the same spirit coming from them why do you need to say, Hey are you a rockintie, or a jumpinite. You just talk. You shall know them by their works. All Christians no matter what sect or building they go to are just that Christians. Would be kind of hard to get all of the Christians in one big building don't you think.

Orthodox and Catholics aren't the same religion. They split before Protestants came along.

The religion that is 'best' is the right one for you. There is not 'best' version of Christianity. Go to a few different churches or websites and see which you prefer. Talk to people there and see if their beliefs agree with yours. That's how you find the 'right' church (for you.)

BEING a Christian is just that. Christianity is not something you do, read from a script, recite poems, stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down, genuflect, dont' kneel---Being a Christian is who you are. A living spirit, the Holy Spirit, guides you, leads you, and you have a personal and very real relationship with Jesus Christ.

There are saved Catholics. Yes! And there are saved Jews. Yes! Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their savior; who believes that Jesus was born of a virgin; that he grew in stature and in wisdom in the Jewish Faith; that he suffered, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day in fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament----Yes, they are a Christian.

We are all sinners---there is none of us perfect, no not one. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But if you are repentent---as the thief on the cross who asked Jesus to remember him---Jesus will forgive us of our sins and take us with him to paradise.

There is no one who cannot be a Christian. There have been hundreds of Catholics who have started Bible study groups in their church so that the days when only the priest was allowed to read the gospels are over! God's word is for his children---all of them.

The Messianic Jews are faithful believers in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. They happily and joyously witness to those Children of Israel who will listen. Yashua!

God does not discriminate. In fact, he's begging everyone in the world to love him and come to him.

There is no division in true Christianity because Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, binds us together. We will all meet in the air at the rapture, and we will live together, work together, and rejoice together in heaven forever. AMEN

Man's attempt to reach God is called "religion." What is more significant than branches of Christianity is the personal "relationship" that you have with Jesus, the Christ. Seek Him first as I have. Admit that you are a sinner, and ask for His saving grace. If you are sincere, watch how the personal relationship with the Living Christ builds in your life! I promise it will as it has for me. Thereafter, He will direct your path to where you worship Him. My prayer, right now, is that you will accept that this is written for you!

The Church within EVERY Denomination

The church is within every denomination throughout the entire world.

We who are in Christ Jesus have become a “new” creature (Gal.6:15, 2 Cor.5:17 below). We have BECOME the church of God (1 Cor.10:32, 1 Cor.1:2, 1 Cor.15:9, Gal.1:13 below), Jesus’ living body (Col.1:24 below).

No matter which denomination one attends, the living body of Christ is there.

Gal.6:15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (2 Cor.5:17 below).

2 Cor.5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (Gal.6:15 above): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 Cor.10:32Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Col.1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body's sake, which IS the church (1 Cor.10:32 above).

1 Cor.1:2Unto the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above) which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

1 Cor.15:9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above).

Gal.1:13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above), and wasted it:

Eph.2:16And that he might RECONCILE BOTH (Jews and Gentiles) unto God IN ONE BODY (the church of God - 1 Cor.10:32 above) by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
