Why do you feel it necessary to dredge the same feelings up by insulting those who think differently from you? Are you still trying to convince yourself that you're right?
From where I'm at that's pretty much what it looks like.

you're talking about a country that when polled only 20% of the population knew where Australia was on the world map, a country that produces the lamest sit-coms and most pathetic drama's, a country that feels the need to go on TV and tell the world that they are screwing their sisters brothers cat, a country that feels the need to lift their shirt publicly despite being shaped like a tub of lard, a country that says its speaking english yet they have changed the way english words are spelt, a country that deep fries its steak.......and all you want to know is why they fall for religious crap???

They have been taught to choose a life of ease.

For example: Eat fast food, eliminate all exercise, drive everywhere, use a vacuum, believe movies are real, aspire to be a couch potato, follow the simple religious script given to you......... Do you get the picture now?

Too many not-too-bright people think American patriotism includes being a good Christian. See how the neocons link treason with atheism, humanism and agnosticism. We have "Christian" thinkers like Ann Coultergeist, who is more of a clown than Bozo ever was.

Um the whole world believes in a religious tradition africans, japanese, chinese, filipino, arabs, america, mexico, even the indian tribes. Think about the question you just asked...

Not all of us... just about 62% are 'committed Christians', according to polls. (Heh-heh... they SHOULD be committed.)

Another 25% are religious, to some degree. About 13% of us are rational. There is hope... not much, but some.

well people are gullable here in american because our education system sucks. as you guys on the outside can see were being dogged by idiots trying to get creationism taught in schools. its the equivalent of people trying to get santa clause taught as fact.

i for one see exactly what you mean. people here in america are stupid.....very.
