truth has ALWAYS been associated with the "word?" God. Same as holy, merciful, gracious, loving,,,,etc...etc.
God is incapable of being dishonest. In other words...God CAN NOT sin. Not a single grain of dust containing corruption, lies, death/sin can survive in the presence of the Lord.
Sounds impossible? Well from a human perspective it certainly does. (Who was the last person you saw turn the other cheek? Christ.) For God truth is the only way.

Long, long, long ago. In fact the process of "God" being equivalent to truth pre-dates our consciousness. Check out Julian Jaynes' "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind"

once you know God then u understand that He is the revelation of truth. there is no darkness in God...only light .. no lies. He is Truth... yes.
