Depends. If it has preservatives injected into it, it will last longer. If it's entirely fresh and very thin-sliced, probably only 3-5 days. BEst test is to first look at it gor discoloration (greenish, or a rainbow-looking slime). If it looks good, smell it. If it smells good and there are no physical signs, it should be good. Taste a little bit. It won't kill you! :)

yeah - i wouldn't eat after a week either because it has no preservatives like the package meat.
