Or in foxholes, or crashing planes?

Charles Darwin doesn't count, we all already know that that is an urban myth.

All right, I'll be more inclusive: "Who turn Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Pagan, or whatever other religion or belief"

K?

Mr Mister, you are entirely missing the point. I have no desire to become a deathbed convert.

You have a legitimate factor. However, there'll continually be a warfare among believers and non-believers. Christians and atheists are everlasting non secular enemies. God designed it that means. Now Christians must use a bit extra knowledge in no longer strifing with unbelievers due to the fact that they're who they're. Just like we're who we're. Go and research Ephesians five:20, we aren't to be at variance and strifing with others looking to coerce them into what we feel. Christians, you're no longer doing God a want through lashing out at Atheists. And it is a Christian penning this. Stop burning gas on folks that refuse to feel Christ. Don't fear approximately their salvation, you make certain YOURS is so as.

lol thats classic. Darwin is an "urban myth"? haha...

Everyones a believer in a foxhole. Not necessarily christian.

Considering how often (not very) those prayers come to work in delicate situations, you have to wonder why it happens at all.

Fact is, christianity is not the only religion, and its not the only people turn to in times of trouble. How selfish of you to think so.

I wonder. When all those people were murdered during the Inquisition, who did they scream and pray out to? After all, they were killed/tortured in the name of a loving, caring God.

"The report about Darwin's change of heart comes from one person, Lady Hope, an energetic Nineteenth Century Christian, while many members of Darwin's family denied it and there is nothing from Darwin's friends, colleagues, his own statements or writings to substantiate it. If Darwin did experience something so dramatic as a conversion to Jesus Christ and a complete revision of the theory of evolution that characterized his life and work, there isn't a shred of evidence of it outside of the claims of Lady Hope."

And I've personally known 2 atheists who went to war, and came back... still atheist. Known exactly 0 who came back believers

Well, lies and rumors are heard, not experienced. If there are any real stories, they weren't the same as other atheists, freethinkers, rationolists, etc...Like one guy said, who were all the people praying to during the Inquisition. Besides, I've heard of Buddhists praying to Buddha, Hinduists turning to whatever deity, etc. So, I wouldn't necessarily believe everything I hear.

There are no athiests in a foxhole. While this is, of course, not true one cannot imagine wartime action and the brutality that it is.
Last minute salvations are just as real as lifetime ones.
So you think darwon didn't huh? hehehehe. I'm not arrogant enough to claim either way.
I've heard differently though.

If you are on your death bed and you are about to die and wouldn't you question your beliefs and wonder if there was a heaven or a hell? If you seen a glimpse of heaven or hell on your death bed wouldn't you want to make sure you didn't end up in the flames? God can reveal himself to people at the last minute to let them know that he is there and they can change their mind and believe because they have seen the truth. Wouldn't you want God to give you one more chance to change your mind if you knew that you were dying and weren't even sure where you were going after the lights go out?

A lie hey. My uncle believed in living life in the fast lane so to speak. Self proclaimed no religion. Found out he was dieing of cancer from asbestos and immediately turned his life over to Jesus. He died two days later, asked if he could go, was being discharged from hospital, he laid down and took his last breath. I came from a very large family so there are all kinds in my family. Believers and non-believers alike. All of them that was a non believer and called it bull**** all at the last moment gave their life to the Lord.

I don't know.

I want to know by scripture, how a atheist can achieve this goal.

I know how a atheist can try. You show me how it CAN be done.

You can't.

I believe is it called..hmmmm. Wishful Thinking.

Your right. I have not heard first hand by anyone that testified seeing or witnessing this. No proclamation of public confession of Christ to others as a witness thereof. Looks kinda fishy too me.
