They make a medication called Xanex... it's very helpful for those with them. I am not one to recommend getting those medications often, but this is something that really does help a lot.
Ask your Physician about it. It's helped me a lot and I feel a lot better without the anxiety.
You can also try some breathing exercises. Close your eyes and take BIG deep breaths. Think of something that makes you happy and just try to slow yourself down in the moment. I do phone sales and it's something I have to do a few times a day to not pull my hair out lol.
Good luck!

Excercise has been proven to relief anxiety attacks, just 30 min of cardiovascular work out a day saw a great result, beats popping pills that will give you a million and one side effects and may cause more problems than they solve.

Zoloft is for depression. Xanax is a medication prescribed for anxiety.
You should talk to your doctor about these symptoms. If there is nothing specific causing these feelings, they may get worse. You should seek treatment as soon as possible.
When it comes to medication that affects the brain and/or the mind, you should consider talking to a psychiatrist. These types of meds are their area of expertise.

See your doctor. My husband kept putting off symptoms of anxiety until one day he thought he was actually losing his mind and could not breathe and his boss man rushed him to the emergency room where I met them later. The doctor on call gave my husband a Xanax while he was there, after examining him, gave him another and told him to see our family doctor the very next day. The family doctor ruled anxiety and my husband has been on light dosages of Xanax since then and has been fine.

If you are not opposed to taking medication I would suggest it. Talk to your doctor. It can be a tremendous help. Outside of that you can avoid the situations which cause these attacks. Although if I did that I would rarely leave my house...LOL. Good luck.

let's see...i've had them....sometimes you can take medicine to get you through a tough time in life...but attending church and counselling has helped me...along w/ confronting the anxiety...i've learned that you can't ignore it...you must talk to it either out loud or write down the thoughts/feelings you are having....that helps....

It's an act of the ' will ' for lack of a better word. You literally have to slow yourself down. Nutrition has to do a lot with it too.

I find that if you read something it calms you down and changes your focus. So in a grocery store you might read a label. It worked for me.
