And did you only start getting ready for it after you read the lameass Left Behind series. Books that were written by someone with the intellect of a 10 yr old.

I'm ready. I bought a nice new lawn chair, a cool digital camcorder, and a bunch of beer and popcorn. I'm going to get lots of footage of Christians flying up into the air and their cars crashing and such and sell the videos on the internet.

The popcorn, beer, and lawn chair are just to add to the entertainment value.

I've been ready since the day I came to know Christ (23 yrs now). I enjoyed the Left Behind series. It really cleared up questions I had about Revelation and the judgements. Intelligence is being able to simplify a very complicated topic into understandable terms (even for the intellect of a 10 yr. old).
God's salvation is clear and easy to understand. It for people of all races. His yoke is light.

I am ready for the rapture, but I haven't read the Left Behind Books. I am ready because the Bible tells me to be ready as a Christian.

Note verse 16 & 17 in particular

1 Thessalonians 4

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

I've placed an order for 100 Rapture survival kits already. You never know when you'll run out of wooden stakes while fighting back the religious zealots going door to door.

There won't be a rapture - but maybe a complete rupture in Human relations and an increase in decadence.

I think people just disappearing would be so cool to watch...After that, doesn't the kind, loving deity Yahweh, torture the remaining group with unnatural phenomena and, if they survive, give them the opportunuity to change their minds and realize what a benevolent creator He is?

no, I've been looking for it for almost 35 years. Way before the series. It'll come, then see who is lame. You better change your mind, it'll be dangerous to change it later and more dangerous not to.

it is very sad to see so many of the Lords children not even believe he is. for all those that do not believe, Lord I pray that you will shake them up, Lord, let them see the truth. you will return then they will say " oh, Lord forgive me, I was wrong, ful of pride, thinking I am above you, to think i was to smart to believe, forgive me, Lord' i pray some who read these things will think, maybe you should explore the possibilities of truth, before it is too late
