Here is my favorite thing for office parties or any kind of informal gathering:
Get several packages of the small cocktail smoked sausage weenies and place them in a crock pot with BBQ sauce. Cook on high for an hour of so and then on low for a few hours. They are always a favorite.

Stop at the store and pick up some prepared meatballs in the frozen food section. Also you'll need grape jelly and chili sauce (you'll find it by the ketchup). Put the meatballs in your crockpot, heat up equal amounts of jelly and chili sauce on the stove, mix and heat and when that is done pour it over the meatballs. Sounds weird but it is a great sweet/sour meatball. Very easy.
Or try a boneless pork roast, rub oil and seasonings over it, put in crockpot with a bit of water, when it starts to brown up put some brown sugar and Coke over it. It will cook up so tender that you can easily pull it apart with a fork, then pour your favorite BBQ sauce over it, leave in crock pot, get some hamburger buns and you have pulled pork sandwiches.

A great dip:

One can Hormel beanless chili.

One block Philadelphia cream cheese.

Couple of fist-fulls of shredded mozerella.

Put block of cream cheese in a caserol dish.

Pour chili over it, and dump mozerella over the whole thing.

Microwave for 5 minutes and stir.

Pick up a bag of small tortilla chips and you're locked and loaded.
