people are practically nude in their bathing suits anyway, so who cares?

Funny how women's bathing suits are essentially the same as their underwear, and yet its not publicly acceptably to walk around the boardwalk in a regular bra.

what a strange, double-standard world we live in.

I don't know about justification, I think its a personal choice I love the feeling of no clothes, a true naturist, just really docent feel; comfortable in clothes. there are people that go there just to look at the naked people.. I'm actually a Christian, and probably alot of Christians out there wouldn't agree with me going to a nude beach.. but I don't go to look or show off a body. so really its in personal preference.

Well on the West Coast there are a few nude beaches and I have been to only one. They attract gay males for some reason. Which is ok as a female. I go for no tan lines, I dont have anything to worry about guys staring at me!! Their too busy looking at themselves.

Nude beaches should be seen as perfectly ok as they allow like-minded (read as "very broad-minded") individuals to experience a natural surrounding in a natural state of "dress".

The world would have been a more happier and safer place to be in if clothes had only been used as a means to protect oneself from conditions of extreme weather. Imagine if we were all used to accepting the state of undress as "normal", man would have been able to use his resources on more constructive issues rather than proliferation and prevention of sex-related crimes....it's common knowledge how billions are spent every year by criminals and governments on this industry alone.

I think being nude isn't a bad thing. It isn't like dressing sexy which is meant to stimulate. I am sure most people would rather look at a picture of a person with barely any clothes than a naked person. Nudity only equals sex if that is how you view it.

Nudity is a freeing experience and clothes are over-rated anyway.

I think it's fine, but unlike in people's fantasies nude beach-goers are rarely attractive. I happened upon a nude beach in Brighton, England a while back and there were no nude Salma Hayeks there--only wrinkly old men and pear-shaped women!

I wouldn't go to one. Most nude beach proponents are weird hippies.

But, if they want to have a beach to their own, that's fine.

Nudists are not perverts who like looking at naked people. They just like going au natural, and don't see nudity as a sexual thing all the time. I think that's a very healthy thing.

This country is way too Puritan. I think more people should adopt the nudist's view about nudity, and view it not as something sexual and taboo.

Unfortunately, nude beaches lure in perverts. The nudists just want to go there to chill out, but perverts will go there and watch them and do perverted things. Nudists do not like the perverts, though.

who cares, the people that go to nude beaches are not the people you want to see at a nude beach

some people think that we are born naked, so being naked is getting in touch with yourself/nature. Plus, nude beaches allow for women to tan their whole bodies, eliminating tan lines and allowing for a nice tan.

Also, women like naked men, and men like naked women. So it's pretty much win win at a place like that.
