First, it's appropriate to ask how old you are and why you want this information? If you're young enough to join Boy Scouts, look for a troop in your area and ask if they have a shooting program. If so, join up and they'll teach you. They use NRA-certified shooting coaches. If you're too old for Boy Scouts, then look for an Explorer Post or a Venture Crew - these are for older adolescents, are part of Boy Scouts of America, and if they have a shooting program, also use certified shooting coaches.
Then there's your state: most of them offer hunter safety courses. Contact the appropriate office and enquire about shooting classes.
Then there are any number of private shooting clubs and "rod and gun" clubs all over all 50 states. Look for a contact, speak to him or her, and ask if you can come to the club to learn to shoot.
Lastly, there's the Armed Forces. You can learn to shoot by enlisting - I'd suggest the Army or Marines as opposed to the Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard.
Don't monkey around with guns without proper training. They ain't toys, as I'm sure you've heard again and again and again. While I do not agree with keeping loaded guns around the house "for protection" or with the idea of concealed carry, I do believe every mentally and physically competent adult should know how to operate a variety of firearms and how to keep them safely when they do choose to own such weapons. Shooting is a legitimate form of recreation, and is in fact a feature of every Olympic event, at both the Summer and Winter Games. Just be sure you do it with safety uppermost in your mind.

it would be easier to take a hunter's safety class but whatever. okay depends on what kind of gun it is. if it has a magazine you load ammo then you insert the mag then pull the slide of bolt back it then aim turn off the safety and pull the trigger. but some guns are different

Take the gun, point it to your right temple, and squeeze the trigger.

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be handling any firearms. I wouldn't want to be on the range with you until you know what you are doing and have passed at least 1 safety course..
