I guess when you stub your toe or something in the middle of the night its easier to say a 1 syllable swear word than a 17 letter one ... you'd be like oh "hippomam----- aww forget it MY TOE!!"

Maybe it's because when you're angry the quickest and easiest words to spew out are monosyllabic, four-letter words. Hippomamodorcfud! is simply too long and clumsy to suit a quick burst of rage! What do you think?

What about motherf*****. That's a long one. In other countries they have longer ones also. My favorite is the F word because you can do SO much combinations with that word. Like F off or F'd over or F tard.

Here are some bad four-letter words you shouldn't call people if you don't know for sure what they are: lazy, ugly, dumb, aged, etc.

Because if they were 5 letters long, we couldn't refer to them as "4-letter words."

(Man, what do they teach you guys in school today anyway?? :) )
