I feel that not in the internet, when you are just begining to know each other, it should be in person. Unless you have a long long serious relationship you can reveal your past. But it should not be said when you have friendship relationship with a guy, but if your courting you should have the right, not to say anything, unless there is a posibility of marriage. And if you know the person well and you feel he will be confident about his trust you can tell him that way it gives a chance for him to know you better, before you tell him what happened in your past.

Why would anyone assume you're a virgin? It might be news if you ARE.

Don't understand why one should volunteer such an information that could affect one's friendship. Virginity is not talked about these days. All know 'being a Virgin' is not a virtue but 'a lack of right opportunity.

What is virginty, after all? It is a Balloon that stands just one 'prick' & it is gone!

When we sleep together making love & after it is happily enjoyed, we can proudly say to our bedmates that we're no longer virgins. The other ones know that & won't mind.

There are girls who lose their virginity before their mothers!

Loss of Virginity is loss of innocence & dawning of WISDOM! It's to be celebrated..

Anyone expecting anyone else to be a virgin is like hoping to win the lottery. Unless you're in one of those Silly Ring Thing virginity groups.

Tell him straight up. If he's surprised that you're a girl of the world, just say 'I never told you I was Mother Theresa!'

If you are into the “we'll have sex after we get married and just to have children” kind of guy, trust me, he will be asking for directions where to stuff it in when the time comes. He won’t know if you are a virgin or not! Just moan a little extra to make it more convincing…

Why would you bother telling him a tall. Most people assume you aren't by the time you reach the age of 16

when the discussion of sex comes up, always be honest. if you were grown up enough to give up your virginity then your grown up enough to talk about it.
if your having sex then he has a right to know just as well as you have a right to know if he is one or not.
regardless of whether your honest or not, still trying to playing the innocent virgin, when it comes down to the time of actually sex, they'll know if your lying or not and visa versa.
starting out any relationship based on lies, ends on lies too.

Presumption either way on his part would be foolish. If he really cares, it'll come up naturally or he'll ask directly. Otherwise, who gives a flip :P

this is just a double standard - men are supposed to be proud of how many women they've slept with, women ashamed of how many men they've slept with.

Free love!

Best time to tell him is right after you had sex with him. That way it still wouldn't be lying...

I think he'll know if you are even remotely half way decent in bed.
