My boyfriend and I talk on the phone a lot. He likes hearing things about himself that my friends say or what I say. I think it's cute, but I'm curious to what you think it means.

I had a boyfriend who was kind of the same way. He always wanted to know what I would say to my friends about him, what my family would say. And he always wanted to hear how great I thought he was.

I honestly believe that my boyfriend had a good self esteem, but he just liked to be reinforced. He wanted me to boost his confidence with all the great things I would say about him.

Women think way too much. This is a prime example. He likes hearing things about himself especially stuff you and your girls talk about because he's selfish and self centered and wants desperately to be the center of attention all the time. This is especially the case if he doesn't see to care too much about you.

If he is so concerned about himself, you might want to see if there is some one out there that likes doing what you do and are very concerned about YOU!

Nature made males to want to look after females that they are really interested in. I cannot say I LOVE YOU, but I am always looking after me.

The males first concern has to be the female, the females first concern has to be the male.

When this happens, without thought or question, life becomes extremely beautiful!

Curiosity. Insecurity.

Maybe he's curious to know what your friends think of him, since they have an important influence on you. If your friends like him, then chances improve of the relationship lasting.

He's insecure about himself or stuck-up on himself. Or he's trying to find out if one of your friends that he likes, likes him in return.

It means you need to have the following conversation with him:

"You know, I'm so glad I met you. And the best part is... I really like you.... despite what everyone else says."

I'm always happy to help. =)

He feeds on good things said about him, it builds up his self asteem and problaby blows his head up bigger than it is. I wouldn't keep tellling him these things, does he have anything good to say about you or your friends? Problaby not, it sounds like he may be self-centered.
