May sound silly, but it is easier if you practise. Imagine offering someone such a thing and think how you would best like to be refused. Stand at a mirror and practise saying no, makes it alot easier, than if it is sprung on you and you haven't planned how to refuse politely.

It's a lot easier to say no prior to starting. Teenagers who start drinking have a much harder time quitting as adults than do adults who began as adults.

I think with all the peer pressure and kids trying so hard to fit in it could be hard to say no bad if you stay true to yourself then no it souldn't be hard to say no

yes it would be hard to say no when theres ppl constantly doing it around u...peer pressure is the most reasoned y ppl do it.if u wasnt around them kinda of ppl then it wouldnt be hard to say no..ppl that r recovering from addiction learn that they have to change ppl,places n things to help with their recovery.

No it is not hard to say no to drugs and alcohol. Don't let peer pressure pull you in. The best way to say no is when someone offers you the drugs or alcohol, say "No thanks".

Some people have addictive personalities and they just can't say no or stay away, but I am not one of them....

its hard to say no to peers at any time, but if you have a strong character and aren't afraid to stand your ground, no it shouldn't be hard to say no thanks, i'll pass. Be true to you, dont give in to fit in.
