AMERICA! And I was born and raised here, even traveled the world twice.
Just go into any American classroom and watch how rudely the students talk to the teacher. Or watch an American TV show/movie. Then compare to a European school, or an Asian TV show.

I can't understand why Americans answering this question are dissing themselves. If you lived in another country you would see it's rudeness come through as well. I think that the people who say that the US is rude have not experienced the entire US or another country. The midwest is home to the most congenial people I've ever seen, and the deep south is SO hospitable. You are generalizing too much. Anyone that is not from the US is just using stereotypes. Do you realize how big the United States is? There are so many regions in the United States and each region has different slang, etiquette, et cetera.
Basically there is no answer to this question, because you are not rude based on where you live.

I never been there but Armenian people are very rude in my opinion. I worked for a company that did surveys a couple of years ago and we actually did a survey on the city of glendale. There is a large Armenian community there and the survey was on just this topic. The results were overwhelming, Armenians are very rude. No offense to anyone, I am sure like you said there is good and bad in all people.

I think that every nation has rude people and kind people, it depends on who you meet. I also think that people shouldn't get ideas unless they visit the country.
Refering to Sirens answer, I happen to know many kind and respectful Armenians. Sadly, a bad experience can change an opinion of a whole race.

The US is by far the absolute rudest nation. We are incredibly isolated, ignorant, and I have seen over and over Americans abroad who expect the people in the country they are visiting to compromise themselves so Americans can have their way.

Without a moment's hesitation, I'd say the United States. Don't believe me? Drive through Chicago's downtown district. *shudders*

I always find countries where the amount of personal space is less to seem rude, just because they are always all up in your business. Really, it's just culture, but it sure feels rude.
One example: Spain.
